Saw Cutting
Custom cut-to-length, same day service, and close tolerance saw cutting: we have a large range of high speed automatic and band saws that can accommodate many grades and sizes of steel, up to 20" O.D.
Boring & Custom Honing
In addition to our many stock micro honed tube sizes, we can customize the sizing of any material through our honing and boring capabilities. To achieve precise inner diameters and improve finishes, we provide honing services. To enlarge preexisting holes, please contact us for more information on our boring services.
Nitriting
Nitro-Processed tube and bar is a service we offer that extends cylinder life. Nitro-Processing increases overall service life, including superior corrosion resistance, wear resistance and dent resistance. With Nitrotec, corrosion resistance is 100 hours (standard) per ASTM B-117-94 neutral salt spray testing.
Specialty Packaging
We ship all small diameters and light walls in protective cases when damage may be a factor. To protect chrome plated surfaces, bars are packaged in fibre-tube containers or boxes. All light wall driveline tubes are shipped in cartons to protect from denting and bending.
Trepanning
As a complement to our hot-finished seamless tubing stock and our bar stock, Team Tube supplies trepanned material, which adds value and saves machining time. We can trepan any inner diameter between 1" I.D. to 10" I.D., up to 22' long. Our machines can accommodate outer diameters between 2” O.D. to 32” O.D. and also squares. Our services can trepan carbon steel, aluminum and cast iron, too.
